Key Stage 2 SATs Reading Resources
These are not the most exciting resources in the world, but are very powerful when used correctly. Essentially I use one text from a previous SATs paper a week.
Session 1 involves reading and discussion around the text with no recording.
Session 2 involves a short verbal starter then some simpler retrieval questions.
Session 3 involves some more in depth questions.
All resources are taken direct from the test. The power of these is in marking together, looking at the mark scheme and understanding what was being asked.
Of course you can choose how you want to use this – recording or not.
